Is this resume uploaded to a server or stored in an account?
No. The builder, ATS score, and PDF all run in your browser. You can keep a draft in local storage on this device, or clear it. Nothing is sent to MTBRMG.
What does the ATS checker actually test?
It looks for readable contact details, standard section headings, dates on jobs and education, a focused summary, skills, action verbs, measurable numbers, a sensible length, and a single-column layout. If you paste a job description, it also reports matched and missing keywords. It cannot promise that a specific employer software will accept every file.
Why is a one-column text PDF better for ATS than a Canva resume?
Many trackers extract plain text. Two-column layouts, icons, text inside images, and tables often come out jumbled or empty. This tool writes real selectable text in one column with headings such as Experience and Education.
Can I check a CV I already have?
Yes. Open the ATS Check tab, paste the resume text, and optionally paste the job post. The checker does not crack or upload PDFs; paste the text or build a new CV here.
